When you're worried about your toddler or preschoolers language development, know how to help them grow their ability to communicate can feel overwhelming. But it doesn't have to be hard!
Narrating your actions as you go through the day is a great way to increase language exposure, but it can be hard to get in the habit of talking to a child who isn't talking back.
Instead of wondering how you're going to keep it up all day, try just starting with your morning routine. I like to sing or chant the words - nothing fancy, just keeping it fun (for me!) and engaging.
Make an effort to narrate the same routine every day and soon the narrating will be a part of the routine 🙌
